Her real name is Victoria Lynch, was born in a small town near Indianapolis in 1960. Her parents were very young, Hyapatia is a delightful mix of irish and cherokee blood. Later she met and married Bud Lee, with whom she had two children. In the following years, her husband Bud joined the cast and crew of her films. She had difficulties coping with the fame and recognition received and had increasing problems with mental illness. She was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, and in 1993, blacked out after having left the set of “Native Tongue” following a confrontation with the director. She retired from the industry, after ten years and almost one hundred films and separated from Bud the same year. She has since remarried and had another child. Also in 1993, she was inducted into the XRCO and AVN Halls of Fame. She was also given the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Free Speech Coalition in 1995. Hyapatia Lee appeared in a 2013 episode of the television series “Gigolos” under her real first name, Vicki.
